   Emo hair cuts look more flattering when the hair is a little past shoulders. I’m sure when you go to the salon they can recommend a good silicone or anti frizz product as hair should look sleek, but not greasy.

   I’d say wait for your hair to grow a bit, or depending on how long it already is, start getting your bangs cut sideswept. Also, after a few times of going to a stylist, you might want to try cutting it yourself. It’s really easy and looks nice and choppy.

   It really depends on how you style it. i’d just use mouse or spray if you’re just straightening it, or doing the little puff at the back. if you’re just sorta making your hair go all over the place and go all spikey i would use gel or pomade.
