   they have nothing to do with each other. I think what your speaking of is the fact that all people are artistic in there own way. But emo people tend to think they are the only ones who are artistic. It is just not true to the extent that you speak

   First of all, emo is not a word, it’s an immature phrase. Artists have nothing to do w/ it either. Some people have chemical imbalances.

   People with artistic abilities are obviously more capable of expressing how they feel rather than someone who isn’t artistic. Art itself reveals psychological ideas, and though it starts subconsciously, you can become more aware of it and control it. Symbolism is the key. “Art is a lie that helps us realize the truth.”

   Artists are often enlightened because they end up thinking about all the little things in life and have some appreciation for it. It’s really hard to explain, but art is an amazing thing.

   Art is a form of self treatment for all kinds of mental differences (some people say “disorders”, I’m saying “differences” for purposes of this discussion).

   i am a very artistic person and u could say im ‘emo’ but not like dressing in black the stereotype more in touch with emotions and people express emotions of sadness hurt pain anger and others in different ways i hav noticed though many artists have an alternative style and i think thats because they express individuality and thee art work hope that answers some questions

   I think that everyone is Emo in their own way. “Emo” is just a shorter
   word for emotional, for instance, girls are emotional sometimes. because their expressing their feeling’s to one another. so by calling someone Emo, your saying that the person is emotional. kind of like artists.
