   You have to make sure your stylist cuts it WITH A RAZOR. It’s called a razor-cut. Scissors will just make your hair look like normal hair, and not emo. And despite what some stylists will tell you, scissors cannot achieve a similar effect.

   well, for your bangs you can pull more hair down and razor cut them. (i prefer you use a razor cutting scissors, it’ll look nice and choppy cause you don’t want that straight across look) and just razor your layers and tease them really nice.

   Well there are lots of ways…

   One way is to bring a picture of your favorite emo girl into a salon and tell them to cut it like that.

   Or another is when you go to the salon tell them to give you short layers and razor cut it. (razor cutting it will give it more texture and harsh as you said.

   For the bang just tell them to cut your bang in a heavy side swept bang and ask them the easiest way to style it.

   Then just don’t forget to rad it and it will look very cute!(:

   cut it kind of short then dye it bright red so that it looks like monster fur and then….oh wait….I thought you said “Elmo”.

   I think what you can do is dye your hair all black and put random streaks of colors through it such as purple, blonde , blue, red etc. or you can just leave it the color you have. the most important thing is to get your hair razored. You can sometimes buy these razors at beauty supplies stores or even order them online or if you want just ask your hair dresser to use a razor instead of normal scissors. Also do not use a regular shaving razor to cut your hair, you can risk messing up your hair if you do. for your bangs i think they shouldn’t go more than past your upper lip, cause this could make it look tacky..
