You just dye the hair black, and maybe get some bangs.
How bout not trying to be something your not. You should come up with a style all your own then those scene kids will want to copy you.

To look properly emo, you must look as if you have been badly abused and feel sorry for yourself. Therefore get some blunt scissors and just cut bits off at random, pull at a few as well., If it is thin, even better, because a good emo look is to look as if you are in the first stages of chemotherapy.
Then after you have chopped enough to make it look thin and ruined, get a flat iron on a hot setting and straighten what’s left of your hair with it. That will give the proper brittle, broken look, just as emos are brittle and broken themselves.
Then dye it black and of course get side bangs.
All done, until it grows out and in a few days you have to do it all again.
The difference between emo and scene, is that scene must look as if you wanted to be abused, so you can go a lot more colourful. Bleach at one end and black at the other is a popular look.
The main thing is, like punk and old lady perms, to look as far away from sweet and natural as possible. It is the high maintenance, high cost look that most stylists prefer (or they’d never stay in business!).
go to a salon dye it black and ask for a funky anime type cut haircut.
you can do much cause you deffinetly need the side bang and i have a scene cousin i know what you need you need your ends of your hair choppy and you can dye it some random color with a few random other stereks
get choppy long layers and sidebangs. Die parts of your hair black and maybe red?? Also get choppy sidebangs. and keep your hair a little longer than medium length..try spray on or clip in hair colour/extensions to switch up your colour preferences every day!

Tease your hair. Its as simple as that. Everybody thinks to look scene or emo you have to have black hair or dark hair. And you don’t have to. Just tease your hair and that will help majorly..
layer it, have sharp ends, and keep it straight.

ok, seriously, stop labeling. and it doesn’t matter if your hair is blonde or thin. Just don’t try to be a poser or anything, just put your own style into it.
