Because they photoshop the crap out of their photos or put loads of foundation on.
they don’t all have flawless skin, i know lots of ppl who do and who don’t it just depends on the person

I would say thin razor cut, tell the hair dresser you want crazy layers. It looks cool.
Scene make-up is usually just some bright colors around the eyes [not too much]. Black eye liner, mascara and liquid eye liner.
And some foundation. And a little tiny bit of blush.
Now you’d be all “scene’d” up!
Have fun with it and go crazyy.
Yeah, most of the time emo/scene girls use lots of lightener founddation or powder on their faces, which makes it paler and more flawless looking. And, for a not so drastic hairstyle, try asking for this…
And you dont have to dye it. Only do what you feel like doing, because “sceneishness” is about DABBLING in scene, but not following every single trend.
As for the not too scary makeup, try this…
Thats how i do my makeup when i feel like playing around with scene-er makeup, but dotn want to go all out with the racoon eyeliner and brightbright neon shadows.
